Warehouse Operative / Slitter Operator
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Slitter Operator in High Wycombe on a permanent basis. We offer a good working environment, and you will be provided with full training.
Your daily duties will include general warehouse responsibilities such as picking rolls, packaging orders for despatch, unloading containers and communicating effectively with couriers and sales office staff. You will also be trained to operate slitting and sheeting machinery to convert rolls to customer specifications, therefore a good mechanical understanding with great attention to detail is required. You need to be a flexible individual who is willing to assist where required.
Required skills:
- Attention to detail is essential
- Mechanically minded
- Previous warehouse experience desirable
- Manual handling
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication skills
- Forklift licence preferred but not essential
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:30
Additional overtime when required @ time and a half
Starting salary £22,500 depending upon experience
